Floatin' and Boatin': Kayaking Adventures Part 2!

Long story short, Almond Joy and I went back to the lake and went kayaking some more!We did a whole loop around the lake (which was awesome!!). We also took picnics to the next level and ate food while kayaking!! It was a successful mission.

After one and a half hours of boating, we went back home and took an hour-or-so long walk up the road from where my house is. We picked and ate some delicious wild blackberries (Almond Joy loves them), too!

All in all today, I think that I said YOLO 5+ times, which, in comparison to some other action-packed days, is not all that bad.

Oh yeah, and when we were out kayaking, I had a saying. Whenever Alond Joy and I took a quick break from paddling, I would somewhat-loudly say "Floatin' and Boatin'!" It was a very good expression, considering what we were doing.

As you're staring at whatever screen reading this blog post, you need to do something for the sake of this Tweenage Drama Queen. Muster up the most epic voice that you can, and LOUDLY (or quietly, your choice) say "FLOATIN' AND BOATIN'!" Trust me, it's quite exciting.

Kayaking Adventures!

Until about 11 a.m. today, I had never been in a kayak. Never in a one-person boat before, either. And, I have to say, that I was stupid to not have done it earlier. At first, I was scared to the point of panic mode of tipping over, but the kayak was actually really sturdy. After I had been on the lake and in the kayak for a while, I realized how fun it is! At the summer camp that I went to this year, there was kayaking, and I will definitely kayak next year when I go back. I went kayaking with my friend who is going off to college in the fall, Almond Joy (again, not her real name). We're thinking of going back tomorrow to kayak the whole perimeter of the lake. There was even a little cup holder on the seat in the kayak! Almond Joy brought out her can of Diet Sierra Mist. They were also surprisingly roomy. I was able to move my legs around quite a bit, not that I did very much, because I didn't really want to tip over. It was only 73 degrees out, and a dip in the lake was not necessary today. If you haven't seen, I just got my FIRST READER COMMENT on my first blog post!!! As you probably can tell, I am THRILLED!!!!!!!!

Welcome To The World of a Tweenage Drama Queen

In life, you have the people who stick to the status quo, and the one's that don't. That's just how it is. I don't, because I think that complete social conformity is quite a bore. If you're not completely and totally yourself, then who are you, really? I am a tweenage drama queen (not all the time, though). Welcome to my blog of not-so-epic proportions that is absolutely exploding with awesomeness. I am Zinni, Tweenage Drama Queen, Reader of Books, Blogger, Kickball Player, Sucker for Cute Animals, Friend, Family Member, Cat-Owner, (almost) a Junior High Student, and let's not forget Spontaneous, Crazy, YOLO-type of person. And stating the obvious, Zinni is just my name on the blog.

Confessions of a Tweenage Drama Queen is a place where I will talk about crazy amazing things in my life! And now that we're talking about the blog and only the blog, I would like to set some simple rules
  • Please, don't put anything inappropriate on the blog. It's not cool and doesn't make you cool.
  • If you know me personally, please hold back from using my real name in comments and such. I have the name Zinni on here for a reason.
  • Don't be mean on my blog. Not to me or to other people. Like I said earlier, it's definitely not cool and definitely not nice.
  • And ENJOY IT!! Have fun reading my blog!!
Buckle your seatbelts. Your reading of this very blog post pretty much ropes you in for my tweenage drama queen-ness....and all that comes with it!!!
